Dr. Sonni Gilbert was born and raised on a ranch in Lander, Wyoming. At an early age she had an inseparable bond with her horses, which lead her to pursue veterinary medicine.
Dr. Gilbert attended the University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary studies. She continued her education at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
In 2020, she moved to Heron, Montana and has been providing mobile and relief mixed animal veterinary services in MT, ID, WA, and WY.
Today, she is excited to create lasting relationships with the community and provide the best possible care to her patients and their families. Her special interests and additional veterinary training include small and large animal dentistry, surgery, preventative medicine, veterinary acupuncture and veterinary physiotherapy.
